Around 2017, the car was sold to a private customer and converted by Rüddel Motorsport to full FIA Group 2 circuit racing specification. The car has since been campaigned successfully in German DRM and Youngtimer racing events, particularly at the Nürburgring, where it has demonstrated consistent front-running performance.

The car is prepared in accordance with FIA Homologation Form No. 1605, utilizing all available extensions of this homologation.
